On Thursday, May5th at 10:00 am the Demolition happened, officially starting the Christian Home Make Over House at 7404 5th St SW in Calgary.
The Morrisey family was there to witness their house coming down, and watch as God began a miracle in their lives.

The Christian Contractor would like to thank all of our supporters: this miracle started with 3 phone calls, 1 to a willing window supplier, the 2nd to a lumber and truss company, and the 3rd to a dear friend with a furniture store. Their willingness to jump in as soon as they heard about the cause spurred on a faith that never stopped believing that this was really possible. To each and every one of you that have also had the spirit move in you, and were all so quick to reach out, I want to thank you.
There is no way that TCC is capable of giving a house away, but with all of you trades, prayer teams, suppliers, and donors, this team effort is helping to accomplish a miracle. Each and every one of you are very important and I pray blessing on your lives and businesses.
The Shine crew 88.9 FM, CBC news, and Sun news Media, were all there to help celebrate and let the world know about what you are doing, my hat is off to you.

A big Thank You came from the Morrisey family as they stood on the street weeping and jumping up and down with excitement.
On Friday they came to see the house for the last time before they have it presented to them as a completed new home In August.
They were amazed at how quickly and efficiently all of you have put this together, and are still amazed and feel extremely blessed by your more than generous hearts.
The Christian Contractors want to thank you for making extraordinary efforts to help us expedite this project, you are all amazing. Be blessed.

We want to thank the English boys at Regal interiors for jumping in last minute to help us with our cabinet install and finishing.Tile work starts Tuesday July 26th, we expect to be painting by Wednesday the 27th and flooring by the 30th.

Brought delivery all of our Cabinetry from Cornerstone Millwork an amazing Faith based Father and son run company that went above and beyond to deliver a very high quality product.
Wednesday, July 19
Brought the delivery of all of our finishing package (doors baseboard, casings, subfloor, and railings)
Jeff Starrett from JAS Finishing showed up as well to mill all the doors and hang many, A very big hearted man from First Assembly Church
Monday, July 18
June 30:
Mechanical inspections today: Electrical, gas, plumbing, heat.
Insulation and drywall will be done next week.
June 20:
- Epic Roofing has completed the install of the roofing material supplied by Tage Davidsen Roofing and Drywall
- All Roof vents supplied by Ventilation Maximum
- Alberta Siding Projects has completed the siding and soffit supplied by Monarch Siding company
- Rolling Mix concrete has completed the basement floor
- Graham Plumbing has completed all rough in of plumbing material supplied by Kitchen and Bath Classics (Wolseley Inc. and Cronkite supply)
- Glenmore Mechanical will begin the install of all Heating and Venting Monday the 20th of June - supplied by Alggin Industries and Furnace supplied by Lennox Furnaces
- Champion Electric will begin install of all electrical material supplied be Eecol Electric Inc on Wednesday the 22nd
- All Gas lines will be installed by Protech Plumbing Inc. supplied by Cronkite supply
- My backbone and our framer Colton of AGA Developments will be back to frame the basement on Monday, now that the floor is poured. Framing material again supplied by Rona
- Waldo industries, the unsung hero, has supplied all of our fasteners for this project, you are what holds us together
- Calgary Vacu Flo and cyclonic Vacs will be on site late this week as well to install the Morrissey’s vacu-flo system
- Memory Express and Yet’s team will be helping with the install of all sound, computer and security wiring
- The boys @ R Factor insulation will be coming in to ensure the family’s warmth as soon as all of this is complete
- Looking for an insulation start date of the 28th - product supplied by Boyd Distributing - keeping the girls warm
- Outside WB Stucco will be having the paper & wire and scratch coat, started Monday 20th material supplied By Consolidated Gypsum
And later in the week to be installing acrylic stucco supplied by Pacific West
- Our Garage door was supplied and installed by Creative Doors of Calgary
- Zee stone masons will be doing the installation of all exterior and interior stone finishes on the week of the 27th.
- Cornerstone Millwork will be starting shortly on the construction of the cabinets that Kim Befus has designed. - Material for all the cabinets and millwork is donated by Eroko

United Rentals. Paul Graham and his team from United Rentals on Blackfoot Trail are supplying all the rental equipment. The ZoomBoom and the portable generator are making life easier for the other contractors.
